Today was Nerd Day at Draper Elementary. I think Connor is one of the cutest nerds I've seen.

Draper Elementary Fun Run
Today was Connor's Fun Run at Draper Elementary. It is the school's big fundraiser! Connor did such a great job and finished strong. It was a long way to run for a kindergartener. We are so proud of him. Ian and I ran half way with him. Our whole family plans to run it next year since both boys will be at the school. It is such a great way to promote physical fitness and the importance of exercise.

Another Try With Fish
We are the proud owners of an aquarium. We hope our five fish do better than Charles the Goldfish. The fish are named Albert, Ding, Dong, Curvy and Burrow. Connor is very responsible and does really good at feeding them. Ian, on the hand, would rather Connor feed the fish. I don't think he likes the smell of the fish food. We've now had them a week so we have already broken our record in keeping them alive.

Soccer Season Begins
The boys started spring soccer season this past week. Ian is playing his first year on the Pre-K team -- White Thunderbolts. Connor is playing on the K team -- Red Lightening. They both really seem to like it and Kim and I really enjoy watching them play. It's quite entertaining, to say the least. We have games Wednesday and Thursday nights and Saturdays. It will keep us very busy from now until the end of May.

Ian is 5!
Ian turned 5 on April 6. We had a family party but celebrated his birthday on April 10 with his first birthday party. It was held at Boondocks Fun Center in Draper. We had 15 of his friends from preschool and Church attend. It was a bit stressful keeping track of that many 4 and 5 years olds, but we didn't lose anybody. Ian asked for a "BYU" themed party. It was a lot of fun!

10th Anniversary Trip to London
Kim and I just returned from spending a week in London (Feb. 27-March 5) to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We had such a wonderful time seeing the sights, and just being together. The only downside to the trip is that we arrived on Sunday, but our luggage didn't arrive until late Wednesday night. Nonetheless, we purchased a few essentials and enjoyed every minute we were there. We were total tourists! Did the doubledecker hop on, hop off bus tour, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, National Portrait Gallery, National Gallery, Big Ben, Tower Bridge and London Bridge, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Harrods, and saw three shows at the West End. We are huge fans of the Tube system which makes it so easy to get anywhere. We overdosed on British chocolate, paid 14 pounds for a movie, and Kim loved the fish and chips. Luke, Ally and Izzie also took us to lunch one afternoon and Ally and Lizzie went souvenir shopping with us. It's good to be home. We sure missed the boys but knew they were being very spoiled by their Aunt Jolynn.
