Ian's Birthday Party

Ian had his 6th birthday party at the Living Planet Aquarium. He invited friends from his kindergarten class. The party was held in the sunken ship and included a treasure hunt around the aquarium. Everyone seemed to have a great time!

April in Utah

This is what we woke up to this morning! Winter seems to want to linger longer this year. The boys are still wearing their winter coats to school. I'm anxious for this crazy weather to end and feel the warmth of Spring.

Ian's Hip Hop Class

Ian had his first hip-hop/jazz class tonight. He's taking it every Thursday for the next eight weeks. He said he likes it a lot more than soccer. It's nice to see him enjoying it so much. He definitely has Kim's sense of rhythm.

Trampoline Fun

Today was the boys' last furlough day for the school year. We decided to try out a new fun center in Draper called Airborne Arena. It has five different areas filled with trampolines. They had a fun time and it was great exercise for them.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

The boys had a great St. Patrick's Day. We started the day with green pancakes, green milk, green apples, and green grapes for breakfast. Connor and Ian wore their favorite "Kiss Me I'm Irish" T-shirts to school. Ian had mint Oreo cookies and green ice cream in his kindergarten class and learned about a leprechaun who left a treasure hunt for the class. Connor made a leprechaun costume. When the boys got home, a secret leprechaun left them pots of gold. They were so excited and loved the surprise! We're not sure who left the pots of gold but we so appreciated it.

Our Night in Provo

We went to the Carl Bloch exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art last night. It really is a beautiful exhibit. Each of us rented an iPad with earphones and were able to learn more about each piece of artwork in detail. Ian's favorite piece was Christ and the Young Child and Connor's favorite was Christ in Gethsemane. We are so glad we took the boys. It was a very inspiring evening. Before the exhibit, we took all the cousins to the Brick Oven for dinner. They are all going to BYU, except Jordan who is at Utah Valley University. It was great to see Jordan, Erin, Kyle, Blaine and Alayna.
