Neighborhood Entrepreneurs

The boys had their first lemonade stand today. It was actually a "Crystal Light" stand since I didn't have any lemonade. They made $3.24. Thank goodness for kind neighbors and friends!

Summer Soccer

Tonight was Ian's first soccer game. He decided he wanted to play summer soccer. He's on the first/second grade team (Team USA) and is the smallest player on the team. Zach from his kindergarten class is on his team. Zach's dad is the coach. We anticipate some very "hot" games ahead.

Happy Father's Day

Kim is exactly the kind of father I knew he would be -- wonderful! Happy Father's Day Kim! We love you and appreciate all you do for us!

Piano Lessons

Connor had his first piano lesson this morning; and he's already practiced today. I hope he's always this excited about it (but I know from personal experience he won't be). We feel very fortunate to have Marci Numbers giving his lessons. She was both his and Ian's preschool teacher and they adore her. The best part about Connor's lessons is that he gets "points" for practicing and after he earns so many points he gets to "shop" in Miss Marci's store. She certainly know how to motivate kids.

Tooth Fairy to Visit Tonight

Ian lost his first tooth today! He is so excited. He even pulled it himself.

Ian's Dance Recital

Tonight was Ian's last dance class and it culminated in a dance demonstration. He performed three numbers: Under the Sea, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Everybody Dance Now. He's enjoyed going and learning some more "moves."
