Second-grade Field Trip
I went to the Museum of Natural History today with Connor's second-grade class. It was so impressive that I hope to take both the boys there again this summer when we have an entire afternoon to spend. Connor loves all this science so he really enjoyed it!

Bingham Canyon Mine
We spent our Memorial Day at the Bingham Canyon Mine so Connor could earn his Kennecott Mine patch for Cub Scouts. The boys loved it and we all learned so much!

First-grade Vehicle Day
Here are some photos of the Vehicle Day Ian had earlier this week. Draper City officials brought all the different vehicles they use to the school to show the kids. Ian loved it!

Let the Summer Begin...
Today was opening day at Cowabunga Bay. We were the second ones in line. Can't wait to use our season passes this summer. As you can see, it wasn't busy at all (perhaps because it was only 65 degrees outside).

Field Trip to Planetarium
I went with Ian today on his first-grade field trip to the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City. Afterward we went to Murray Park for a picnic lunch. It was a great day and I loved spending it with him!

Developing Their Talents
Last night was a fun night for our family. We had two activities going on at the same time. I went with Ian to his spring art show at Draper City Hall. He has been taking a weekly art class through the Draper Arts Council. He has such a talent for art and is so creative.
Kim went with Connor to his first swim team lessson. Connor has joined the swim tree at the Treehouse Athletic Club. He will be swimming five days a week from now until August! He claims he is "part fish" and loves to swim. We hope this is something that will keep him active during the summer months!

Spring Piano Recital
Connor recently had his spring piano recital. He played "Hickory Dickery Dock." He played it perfect!
We are amazed that he never seems to be nervous and does so great in front of a crowd.
His piano teacher, Marci Numbers, will no longer be teaching piano lessons, so we will be starting with a new teacher in June. Ian is also going to start taking piano lessons this summer.
